About the Role:

Lignetics Inc. is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move products, equipment, and materials within our warehouse and production areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to transport goods and materials within the warehouse and production areas.
  • Ensure all raw materials are stacked in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Verify and record the proper amount of product loaded onto trucks.
  • Attach packaging slips and load seals to all trucks before departure.
  • Assist other production areas as needed.
  • Move and wrap completed products.
  • Assist Shift Leads with starting and stopping pellet mills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass company forklift training.
  • Good eye, hand, and foot coordination.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day.
  • Ability to read and interpret scales.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to do simple math calculations.
