Position: Global Controller

Overview:

Role Summary:

We are currently in search of a proficient and experienced Global Controller to become an integral part of our finance team. In this crucial role, you will manage our financial operations, lead a team of dedicated accounting professionals, and drive strategic initiatives to ensure the ongoing success of our organization during this period of growth and expansion.


As the Global Controller, you will oversee our legal entities across various international locations and provide support for mergers and acquisitions as we pursue future growth opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute financial strategies that align with the company's business goals.
  • Collaborate with department leaders, under the guidance of the CFO, to create and implement budgets and departmental reporting, including monthly performance evaluations.
  • Identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency and work with internal teams to automate and streamline processes.
  • Lead the integration of accounting and finance functions during mergers and acquisitions, coordinating valuation engagements and related accounting practices.
  • Train and mentor finance team members to ensure a high level of competency and efficiency.
  • Oversee the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage lender reporting requirements, including the preparation of compliance certificates and monitoring of debt covenants.
  • Coordinate external audits and manage various professional engagements as required.
  • Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to the executive team.
  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and payroll functions.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems, including implementation and integration projects.
  • Strong understanding of international accounting principles and experience managing international subsidiaries.
  • Experience in a high-volume transaction environment is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to build and develop teams, drive process improvements, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
