Key Responsibilities:
- Engages with leadership teams to shape hospital-wide decision-making processes, including the formulation, execution, and evaluation of the institution's mission, strategic objectives, financial plans, resource distribution, operational strategies, policies, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Formulates, implements, and regularly reviews organizational policies and procedures that govern service delivery in compliance with applicable regulations. Maintains an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, regulatory standards, and legislative changes, advising management as necessary.
- Designs, implements, and assesses programs aimed at enhancing the recruitment, retention, professional development, and educational advancement of nursing and patient care personnel.
- Acts as the local Nurse Executive, collaborating closely with affiliated healthcare entities. Plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates care delivery within nursing and related departments, establishing care delivery guidelines, nursing practice standards, and staffing frameworks.
- Defines and upholds the quality standards for nursing practice and patient care across the facility.
- Explores innovative nursing techniques, practices, and tools through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
- Regularly participates in nursing affinity groups and patient care teams, promoting the exchange of best practices and system-wide initiatives.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
- Current licensure or proof of application for licensure as a registered nurse in the relevant state.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is required or must be obtained within five years.
- A minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience, including at least two years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated progressive experience in clinical and administrative nursing roles.
- Exceptional communication abilities, encompassing both public speaking and written communication.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic through previous employment experiences.
- Advanced competencies in clinical nursing practice and healthcare administration.
- Education assistance programs available.
