We are in search of a distinguished Executive Kitchen Leader with extensive experience in high-volume dining establishments to spearhead the renowned Crew . Collaborating closely with our celebrated culinary director, Kerry Heffernan, the Executive Kitchen Leader will engage in all facets of kitchen management and oversight.

Job Responsibilities
Key Duties
  • Provide comprehensive leadership and management to all kitchen personnel and operations, ensuring professionalism and adherence to Crew policies and standards.
  • Maintain a professional zero-tolerance stance towards policy compliance while fostering a motivated and high-morale team environment.
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of all kitchen staff, including sous chefs and hourly kitchen employees.
  • Conduct daily operational reports and checklists as required.
  • Facilitate thorough training sessions for both managerial and subordinate staff in line with company training protocols.
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, addressing any violations immediately.
  • Manage scheduling for all back-of-house employees, utilizing approved technology to align with labor budgets and staffing needs.
  • Master menu item specifications and ensure all dishes are executed to meet company standards for quality and consistency.
  • Monitor feedback logs daily to promptly address any culinary concerns regarding quality, service speed, and operational efficiency.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety, maintaining a pristine kitchen environment at all times.
  • Supervise the maintenance and organization of the kitchen and its associated areas, ensuring adherence to cleaning schedules.
  • Conduct weekly inventory assessments and manage vendor relationships for consistent supply chain operations.
  • Engage in weekly meetings with corporate and events teams to review upcoming events and address business-related matters.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in a Chef de Cuisine or similar role overseeing significant food sales revenue.
  • Experience leading a team of 30 or more personnel.
  • Proven track record in executing high-volume, elevated culinary offerings in a professional setting.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification in culinary arts.
  • Strong knife handling skills and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
