To bolster our expansion, we are in search of individuals with a robust background in sales and account management. This role necessitates expertise in COMMERCIAL FOOD SERVICE energy-efficient technologies linked to commercial building systems. In this capacity, you will recruit and engage essential stakeholders and team members, particularly within the distributor and retailer supply chains, while collaborating with a team of energy efficiency specialists. You will develop and oversee a project pipeline for utility clients and contractors to ensure our programs achieve participation targets. The ideal candidate will also contribute to the internal operations of the programs, assisting the program manager with tasks such as data analysis, reporting, application review, forecasting, marketing development, execution of plans, quality control measures, and client support.

Responsibilities:

Build and sustain relationships and partnerships with major local, regional, and national distributors, suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers to foster their involvement in the programs. Monitor and report on outreach initiatives and outcomes, including savings achieved by each participant, strategies employed to enhance performance, and other metrics related to achieving program participation goals. Establish and nurture new relationships and partnerships with contractors and professional organizations to promote program awareness and adoption. Maintain strong ongoing communication with participants and other stakeholders to assess their needs and gather feedback on their program experience. Prepare and deliver program requirements and training presentations, while promoting program awareness and participation at trade shows, trade organization events, and stakeholder gatherings. Assist the program manager in developing and executing promotional strategies. Compile ongoing status reports to document performance and activities, demonstrating progress towards program goals, participation, and pipeline management. Review and analyze QA/QC data for projects reported to clients. Analyze market trends and technologies for deployment in midstream programs. A reliable vehicle for local travel is required, with travel expectations between 50% to 70% of the time. (Mileage reimbursement provided)

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (candidates may substitute one year of experience for each year of education) 2+ years of experience in outside sales and/or business development within the industry. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in outside sales and/or business development or related fields. Background in selling and managing accounts within COMMERCIAL FOOD SERVICE equipment supply chains. Proven track record in managing successful energy efficiency initiatives, particularly with contractors, distributors, real estate, government, or commercial business clients. Proficiency in developing and/or implementing data collection, tracking, and reporting processes (e.g., customer relationship management (CRM) systems). Experience in mechanical, building material, or electrical equipment distribution and sales with established connections. Ability to collaborate with all levels of internal staff, as well as external clients and vendors. Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Dynamics, Word, Outlook, Excel)
