Position Overview

What does the role entail?

The Regional Sales Executive serves as the primary representative of our organization to our key clientele – the dealers. This role emphasizes increasing the volume of funded transactions by collaborating with dealers who align with our business model.

The position fosters growth by identifying, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with dealers within their designated territory. A consultative sales and management approach is essential to our program. Building robust partnerships with dealers who recognize how our offerings can enhance their business is crucial for success in this role.

This is a full-time position reporting to our Regional Sales Managers. We seek candidates who are adaptable to remote work and travel as necessary.

What to expect as part of our External Sales Team?

Comprehensive training is provided to ensure your success in this position. This training equips you with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the field.

You will join a supportive and positive team that encourages you to overcome sales challenges.

Responsibilities of the Regional Sales Executive include:

Presenting and articulating company products and services to various management levels within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person; Identifying sales opportunities and engaging with assigned accounts; Following up on new leads and referrals generated from outreach to Independent and Franchise dealers; Developing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with current and prospective dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer networks; Ensuring consistent and effective communication, whether via phone or in-person, with dealer partners regarding current programs; and Educating dealers on Westlake Financial Services, including the necessary documentation for efficient contract funding.

Desired Qualifications

Key attributes we seek in our Regional Sales Executive:

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) High School diploma or equivalent (required) College degree or relevant work experience (preferred) Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales sectors Previous experience in the Financial Services industry or within a Car Dealership 1-2 years of experience in a challenging sales environment with a proven success record Clear and effective presentation skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales strategies Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technologies Results-oriented: ability to achieve objectives aligned with company goals Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time for dealer visits
