At Scale is actively seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialists to support our mission during the upcoming election cycle. In this essential role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling the staffing requirements for our field operations, aimed at engaging voters and supporting Democratic candidates.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time, salaried position with a monthly compensation of $6,000, paid semi-monthly. We cover travel and accommodation expenses for work-related relocations and provide a cell phone stipend of $100 per month. There are ample opportunities for professional growth and advancement within our organization.
Role Overview
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the office team under the guidance of the Field Office Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and attracting top talent for our field teams.
- Utilizing our Applicant Tracking System to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Building local talent networks and sourcing applicants through various channels.
- Maintaining the applicant database with accurate data entry.
- Facilitating communication and interviews with candidates.
- Making informed hiring recommendations.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively across diverse groups. Your ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain organization will be crucial for success in this role. Analyzing recruiting metrics and adapting strategies based on data will also be key components of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and screen incoming applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial assessments, including phone interviews, to evaluate candidate suitability.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and office staff.
- Input interview data into the Applicant Tracking System to enhance the recruitment process.
- Respond to candidate inquiries and provide timely updates on application statuses.
- Work alongside the Office Manager to understand staffing needs and provide recruitment support.
- Engage in active recruitment by attending events and job fairs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Provide support to both office and field operations as necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience in recruitment, administrative support, or related fields.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and data management is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
- Commitment to progressive values and community engagement.
- Must possess a laptop and smartphone with data service.
- Ability to work in an active office environment with moderate physical activity.
- A valid driver's license is required for transporting staff and materials.
