Senior Financial Controller

Position Summary
The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in the financial management of designated business units, ensuring meticulous oversight of financial documentation, analysis, and reporting under the direction of the Regional Accounting Leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial summaries and engage in business initiatives.
- Collaborate on enterprise-wide projects, including acquisition integration and system enhancements.
- Standardize processes and reporting protocols to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting while safeguarding company assets.
- Lead the transition to a new Oracle ERP system, driving innovation and standardization.
Core Duties
- Create and maintain accounting records, including general accounting and costing.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Compile and analyze financial data to document business transactions.
- Manage monthly close processes, reporting, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in implementing accounting policies and internal controls.
- Maintain the Chart of Accounts and financial reporting structure.
- Analyze financial results against plans and review various accounting transactions.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements
- Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- At least 5 years of accounting experience in a dynamic business environment, preferably in mid-large manufacturing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cost accounting.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to interpret and communicate financial performance.
- Experience with Tier 1 ERP systems, preferably Oracle or SAP.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- CPA designation is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Candidates with equivalent knowledge and experience will also be considered.
Compensation
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for this position ranges from USD $80k to $100k annually. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits.
