Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Financial Consultant, you will play a vital role in our finance and accounting division. Your responsibilities will include developing financial forecasts, cost assessments, and creating advanced models and analytical reports that contribute value across various sectors of our organization.

Primary Duties:
  • Responsible for constructing financial models for proposals and new initiatives:
    • Develop models to simulate and optimize financial scenarios, aiding the team in making informed decisions.
    • Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to formulate cost estimates for proposals.
    • Advise on pricing strategies for proposals.
    • Assist in evaluating new business opportunities and support proposal leaders with financial assessments.
  • Generate and analyze sales, bookings, and pricing reports.
  • Assist business unit leaders and senior management in interpreting financial outcomes.
  • Support the Engineering team in monitoring and reporting on project performance metrics.
  • Enhance and maintain analytical tools that facilitate decision-making processes.
  • Manage core vendor and customer data effectively.
  • Aid in streamlining and digitizing the finance department's operations.
  • Undertake special projects and provide assistance to other departments as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Self-driven with the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong work ethic, high energy levels, and critical thinking skills to solve complex problems.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems in a manufacturing context is advantageous.
  • Understanding of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and TINA (Truth in Negotiations) is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Syteline ERP and business intelligence tools such as Vena is a plus but not required.
  • Strong grasp of MRP systems is advantageous.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel and possess analytical skills to interpret data effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
Compensation Range:
The typical salary range for this position is $92,000 - $154,000 annually. Offers within this range are determined based on relevant qualifications and pay equity.
