Job Description

The Residential Program Coordinator provides victim-centered and trauma-informed direct services to survivors of human trafficking within a safe house setting. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities in the residential program, helping clients manage calendars and schedules, and assisting with daily routines, life-skills training, case management scheduling, and guiding participants in programming activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative: Manage detailed complex operational needs of a residential safe house, including managing all residential logistics and providing program support through daily implementation of all residential policies, procedures, and protocols according to Her Song values and operational manuals.
  • Coaching: Foster a healthy, safe community living environment, assist clients in managing a busy daily program schedule, address and respond to individual client needs, and help clients manage and attend all service provider, legal, and healthcare appointments.
  • Program Management: Assist Residential Manager in managing residential staff schedules, shifts, and payroll reports, vet, train, schedule, supervise all residential volunteers, and share client care duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years related experience, or equivalent combined experience.
  • Mature, flexible, calm, supportive, and resilient with a positive outlook.
  • Organized, able to handle administrative duties.
  • Highly trainable on how to work with clients in a trauma-responsive way.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience in supportive or peer counseling, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution techniques.
