Our expertise encompasses residential and therapeutic foster care programs, Kinship support, community-based services, and a special education elementary school, among others.

Role Summary:

As the Program Leader for the Residential Program, you will report directly to the Program Manager and play a pivotal role in managing the physical, emotional, and therapeutic needs of children within the program. Your leadership will be essential for the effective daily operations of the residential services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and uphold standards to ensure a therapeutic, child-focused environment
  • Oversee and manage children's treatment plans as directed, documenting services rendered
  • Ensure the safety and upkeep of facilities and transportation
  • Facilitate communication among team members
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of Direct Support Professionals
  • Review staffing assignments and pertinent documentation on a daily basis
  • Engage in program activities and support housekeeping tasks
  • Participate in required meetings and training sessions
  • Plan and execute daily activities for clients
  • Administer and oversee medication distribution
  • Manage transportation and other program-related needs
  • Conduct post-crisis response procedures as necessary
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Organizational Relationships:

In your capacity as Program Leader, you will report to the Program Manager and collaborate with the Residential Treatment Team.

Essential Functions:

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma/GED; Associate's degree preferred
  • Certification in medication administration is required
  • Valid New York State driver's license and van certification
  • Experience working with children in crisis situations
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background checks
