Senior Account Executive

At ICON plc, we're driven by a shared vision to advance and improve patients' lives. As a Senior Account Executive, you'll play a critical role in shaping our success by generating new and repeat business for our Clinical Research organization.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced sales professional to join our Business Development team, supporting Large Pharmaceutical clients within our IPH (Full Service) group. As a Sr. Director, Business Development, you'll be responsible for promoting our services throughout the Pharmaceutical industry, building strong relationships, and highlighting ICON's strength in operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new and repeat business for ICON Clinical Research
  • Promote our services throughout the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Develop and execute business development strategies
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A background in selling full-service within a CRO environment
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Technology, or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of and experience in the area of clinical trials
  • A recent track record of closing multi-year and multi-million dollar deals
