Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with varied teams to develop electrical systems and components that fulfill project requirements, comply with industry standards, and align with organizational goals.
  • Creating comprehensive circuit diagrams, schematics, and layouts utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as AutoCAD Electrical to ensure optimal functionality and integration of components.
  • Building and evaluating prototypes to measure system performance, identify potential issues, and implement necessary improvements.
  • Integrating electrical systems into overall product designs, taking into account factors like size, weight, and energy consumption.
  • Researching and selecting appropriate electrical components, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Guaranteeing that all electrical designs comply with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical and software engineers, as well as product managers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into product designs.
  • Developing and maintaining thorough documentation such as design specifications, testing plans, and technical reports.
  • Troubleshooting electrical system failures, providing support for production and post-production processes.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in electrical engineering to identify opportunities for enhancing product performance and efficiency through new technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Expertise in electrical design, analysis, and simulation tools (e.g., Altium, SPICE). Comprehensive knowledge of electronic components and their applications.
  • Relevant experience in electrical engineering, product development, or similar areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex electrical engineering challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
  • Proven ability to think innovatively and contribute to creative solutions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and reliability in electrical designs.
  • Adept at working in a dynamic environment and adjusting to evolving project demands.
  • Familiarity with applicable electrical safety regulations and standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver objects of varying weights.
  • Capability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, climb, balance, stand, and walk for extended periods while maintaining necessary physical dexterity and coordination.
  • Willingness to work in diverse environmental conditions, potentially facing varied temperatures, weather, and noise levels.
