Position: Senior .NET Engineer with Production Support Expertise

Location: Hybrid

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Engineer with extensive experience in Level 3 (L3) Production Support to enhance our innovative team. The successful candidate will be tasked with the maintenance and improvement of enterprise-level applications while delivering top-tier support for intricate production challenges. This role requires a mix of programming, diagnostics, and effective communication with various stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and sustain applications utilizing .NET framework and .NET Core technologies.
  • Deliver L3 support by diagnosing and resolving complex production challenges that L1 and L2 support teams cannot manage. This may involve being on-call as necessary.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production failures and devise solutions to reduce and prevent future incidents.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to grasp the architecture and workflows of applications.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to guarantee optimal application performance.
  • Participate in code evaluations and adhere to best practices in software engineering.
  • Implement new functionalities and enhance existing features based on business needs.
  • Document all activities in project management systems and create support documentation for L1 and L2 teams.
  • Guide junior developers and support personnel in .NET technologies and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in .NET development and production support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in application development using .NET technologies.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in providing L3 production support for .NET applications.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
  • Experience with .NET Core, microservices, and containerization technologies such as Docker is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JS frameworks) is a plus.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies is beneficial.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or any relevant .NET certifications would be beneficial.
