We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Officer to join our team at Republic Bank. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for generating new loan growth for our assigned business lines in our defined markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and participate in a sales calling plan to develop sources of loan originations from various assigned business lines dealers/brokers in the defined market.
- Maintain consistent referral sources and retain this referral base through regular calling/entertainment initiatives to strengthen personal relationships.
- Solicit sales from new and existing clients through individual business development efforts and from referral sources (COIs/Brokers/Direct Client Relationships).
- Keep apprised of evolving market conditions and performance of the entire portfolio.
- Support all other departments of the Bank and maintain a cooperative and professional relationship with all bank associates.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial institution is required.
- Minimum of 5 years sales/new business development experience required.
- Strong understanding of the assigned business lines landscape and the ability to identify and cultivate a pipeline of prospective dealer and broker accounts preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage existing loan portfolio and assess profitability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and internet applications.
