Business Development Director

Join Packsize, LLC as a Business Development Director and drive company growth by identifying, creating, and pursuing new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive individual who can establish strong relationships with potential clients, analyze market trends, and collaborate with internal teams to develop effective strategies for expanding the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Sales Development Representatives to achieve and exceed targets.
- Set clear performance metrics and targets for the team, track performance against goals, and provide regular feedback and coaching to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure SDRs have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Manage team performance, and ensure SDR commission payouts are timely and accurate.
- Research, identify, and target new business opportunities in line with the company's growth strategy.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions and capitalize on potential opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and product teams to develop tailored strategies that align with business objectives.
- Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads and opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with new clients, working to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product development to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
- Track and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) related to business development activities, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company and stay updated on industry trends.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Experience in managing a sales development organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster trust.
- Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills.
