The Thuma organization is on the lookout for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Lifecycle Marketing, this role will spearhead the implementation and ongoing enhancement of email and SMS marketing initiatives.

As a hybrid position, while in-office attendance is not mandatory, candidates should be prepared to visit the office as needed. We value the benefits of in-person collaboration and host various events throughout the year to foster team connections.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Growth/Experience, Digital Product, and Brand/Creative departments to:
  2. Oversee the development and refinement of email and SMS marketing, ensuring adherence to brand standards and proper technical tracking.
  3. Manage project timelines for all email and SMS creative outputs, coordinating with both internal teams and external partners.
  4. Work alongside Brand and Go-to-Market teams to create a monthly strategy for email and SMS that aligns brand identity with merchandising and performance objectives.
  5. Regularly analyze and report on the effectiveness of Thuma's email initiatives, focusing on deriving actionable insights from the data.
  6. Propose enhancements and experiments for the email and SMS marketing strategy based on comprehensive performance evaluations.
  7. Develop new email and SMS automation processes that align with Thuma's core business goals and lifecycle strategies, including enhancing customer conversion and fostering long-term loyalty.
  8. Gain insights into customer purchasing behaviors and utilize this knowledge to recommend new automation strategies, personalized email content, and A/B testing opportunities.
  9. In partnership with the Lifecycle Marketing director, identify priority tests for email and SMS collection on the Thuma website and assess their impact on customer sign-ups and conversions.
  10. Collaborate with the Lifecycle Marketing director and other departments to design, implement, and evaluate new programs that enhance customer loyalty and encourage repeat business.
  11. Assist in lifecycle marketing aspects of significant cross-departmental projects.
  12. Conduct ad hoc analyses and reporting on repeat purchase behaviors and the overall effectiveness of lifecycle initiatives for various stakeholders.

  3. Highly organized and team-oriented, capable of fostering cross-departmental collaboration through effective communication.
  4. Experienced in developing campaign schedules and automated marketing strategies for large eCommerce brands.
  5. Proficient in using Klaviyo for managing extensive customer databases.

What You'll Need:

  1. A minimum of 4 years of experience in eCommerce or marketing within a direct-to-consumer brand.
  2. At least 3 years of direct involvement in Lifecycle Marketing or Retention Marketing, focusing on the creation of complex automated workflows and managing large-scale email campaigns.
  3. Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and communication, working effectively with diverse teams.
  4. Solid organizational and project management capabilities.
  5. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, providing regular updates on progress and clearly communicating project priorities.
  6. Skill in analyzing and interpreting data from various sources.
