The Thuma organization is in search of a Lifecycle Marketing Manager. Reporting to the Senior Director of Lifecycle Marketing, this role will spearhead the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the email and SMS marketing initiatives.

Thuma operates in a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility for team members to work remotely while also encouraging occasional in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Growth/Experience, Digital Product, and Brand/Creative sectors to:
  2. Oversee the development and refinement of email and SMS marketing campaigns, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and effective tracking mechanisms.
  3. Manage project timelines for all email and SMS creative outputs, coordinating with both internal teams and external partners.
  4. Work alongside Brand and Go-to-Market teams to formulate a monthly strategy for email and SMS that aligns with brand identity, merchandising, and performance objectives.
  5. Regularly analyze and report on the effectiveness of the email marketing program, focusing on deriving actionable insights from the data.
  6. Propose enhancements and experiments for the email and SMS strategy based on comprehensive evaluations of performance metrics and brand inspirations.
  7. Create new email and SMS automation processes that align with Thuma's primary business goals and new lifecycle initiatives, such as enhancing customer conversion rates and fostering long-term loyalty.
  8. Gain a foundational understanding of customer purchasing behaviors and utilize this knowledge to suggest new automation strategies, personalized email content, and A/B testing opportunities.
  9. In conjunction with the Lifecycle Marketing director, identify key tests for email and SMS collection on the Thuma platform and assess their impact on sign-ups and customer conversion.
  10. Collaborate with the Lifecycle Marketing director and other departments to develop, implement, and evaluate new programs aimed at enhancing customer loyalty and encouraging repeat business.
  11. Assist in the lifecycle marketing aspects of significant cross-departmental projects.
  12. Conduct ad hoc analyses and reporting on repeat purchase behaviors and the overall effectiveness of lifecycle initiatives for various stakeholders.

  4. Experience in developing campaign schedules and automated marketing strategies for large eCommerce brands.
  5. Proficient in using Klaviyo with extensive customer databases.
What You'll Need:
  1. A minimum of 4 years of experience in eCommerce or Marketing roles within a DTC brand.
  2. At least 3 years of direct experience in Lifecycle Marketing or Retention Marketing, managing automated workflows, campaign calendars, and quality assurance for large email distributions.
  3. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  4. Proven organizational and project management capabilities.
  5. Ability to juggle multiple priorities and timelines while maintaining clear communication on project status.
  6. Proficiency in analyzing data from various sources.
