Role Summary: The Receptionist/Administrative Customer Service Coordinator is tasked with managing incoming calls, screening them, and directing them appropriately while assisting visitors in a corporate office environment. This role is crucial in delivering an outstanding customer experience by addressing inbound inquiries and facilitating communication with the relevant Alsco branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls, evaluating customer needs to provide professional, courteous, and prompt responses aimed at resolving issues efficiently.
  • Analyze and escalate tasks as necessary to address customer concerns with the servicing branch.
  • Collaborate closely with branch service personnel to ensure effective communication and fulfillment of customer service requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, customer interactions, and tasks within the computer system.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a backup for the administrative assistant role as needed.

Additional Duties:

  • Provide general office support, including file maintenance, data entry, and clerical tasks.
  • Conduct COVID-19 screening for visitors in accordance with company protocols.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding telephone communication skills, showcasing professionalism, patience, and active listening.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team while also functioning independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including keyboarding, 10-key, and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in reception or customer service preferred.

Work Environment:

Office setting with minimal travel required for training purposes.

Physical Requirements:

The role requires sitting for extended periods, typing, walking, standing, hearing, seeing, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Essential duties must be performed efficiently and accurately, with or without reasonable accommodation.
