Role Summary:

The Receptionist/Administrative Customer Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing incoming calls and assisting visitors in a corporate office environment. This position is key to delivering outstanding customer service by efficiently handling inbound inquiries and directing information to the relevant Alsco branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage incoming calls, assess customer needs, and provide prompt, courteous responses aimed at resolving issues efficiently.
  2. Evaluate and escalate tasks as necessary to address customer concerns with the appropriate branch.
  3. Collaborate effectively with branch service personnel to ensure seamless communication and fulfillment of customer service requests.
  4. Maintain accurate records of calls, customer interactions, and tasks within the company’s systems.
  5. Conduct follow-up calls to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
  6. Serve as a backup for the administrative assistant as needed.

Additional Duties:

  1. Provide general office support, including file maintenance, data entry, and clerical tasks.
  2. Conduct COVID-19 screenings for visitors in accordance with company protocols.
  3. Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

  1. Outstanding telephone etiquette, demonstrating professionalism, patience, and active listening skills.
  2. Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  3. A collaborative team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
  4. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  5. Proficient in computer applications, including keyboarding, 10-key, and MS Office.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of experience in reception or customer service is preferred.

Work Environment:

Office-based role with minimal travel requirements for training purposes.

Physical Requirements:

The role involves sitting for extended periods, typing, walking, standing, hearing, seeing, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Essential duties must be performed efficiently and accurately, with or without reasonable accommodation.
