Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable HVAC Solutions Sales Specialist. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to consult on HVAC, piping, and electrical systems. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with clients to devise solutions for repair and retrofit opportunities, focusing on both financial and energy efficiency aspects.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, engineer, and market retrofit, repair, and replacement mechanical projects.

- Foster relationships with existing clients while collaborating effectively with management and the sales team.

- Provide expert consultation in developing HVAC system solutions tailored to client challenges, emphasizing financial and performance-based outcomes; utilize cold calling techniques to secure appointments with potential clients.

- Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively; identify key clients and create targeted action plans to expand those accounts.

- Continuously identify client needs and market opportunities; assemble and coordinate the sales team as necessary for client projects.

- Recognize potential opportunities with both existing and new clients.

- Convert leads into actionable opportunities by determining the appropriate sales strategy, assembling the necessary sales team members, and guiding the sales process.

- Cultivate multiple relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations, including facility managers, project managers, and purchasing agents.

- Achieve a satisfactory rate of new sales.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- An associate degree in engineering, engineering technology, business management, or a related field, coupled with three to five years of experience in facilities or HVAC services; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and piping design, estimation, and sales.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong mathematical and financial acumen.

- Enthusiasm for business development, networking, and participating in industry events.

- A solid understanding of and interest in modern technologies.
