Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Lockton. As a key member of our client services team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business growth strategies to increase revenue and expand our client base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop proposals to present to clients
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improve client service
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' businesses, including their financials, operations, and strategic objectives
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges, developing contingency plans to ensure business continuity
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the industry, building relationships with key stakeholders and influencers
  • Stay organized and manage multiple priorities, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in client services, with a strong background in business development and account management
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and expanding client relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and challenges
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends and developments, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improve client service
