Job Summary

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Marketing Director to lead our sales and marketing efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving occupancy success, developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies, and building relationships with prospective residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive occupancy success, including community engagement, referral source outreach, lead generation, and closing.

Establish Performance Metrics

Establish a method of monitoring expected outcomes and effectiveness of marketing and sales programs, ensuring that we are meeting our sales activity standards and census goals.

Plan and Implement Marketing Activities

Plan and implement marketing activities and events that promote our senior living community and attract prospective residents.

Manage Budget

Monitor and maintain budget, ensuring that we are staying within our allocated resources.

Collaborate with Leadership

Collaborate with our Executive Director and Regional Sales Director to determine advertising needs and implement effective marketing strategies.

Meet Sales Activity Standards

Meet all monthly sales activity standards, including follow-up calls, professional sales calls, event planning, and monthly lead bank mailings.

Drive Occupancy Success

Meet the community's move-in and census goals each month, or identify barriers to meeting these goals and develop strategies to overcome them.

Respond to Inquiries

Respond and follow-up to inquiries in a positive and timely manner, providing prospective residents and their families with accurate and effective information about our senior living community.

Build Relationships

Develop a strong network of professional and agency referral sources, building relationships that drive sales and occupancy success.

Host Community Events

Host and attend community events, developing positive community relations and promoting our senior living community.

Research Competition

Research and maintain information on local competition, including rates, specials, services, and other relevant data.

Implement Move-In System

Implement and monitor a move-in system to ensure that all resident records are complete prior to admission.

Maintain Resident Records

Maintain new residents and inquiries in the Move-In database, ensuring that all relevant information is up-to-date and accurate.

Prepare Mailings

Prepare and distribute mailings to prospective and current residents, providing them with relevant information about our senior living community.

Communicate Effectively

Provide required information and communicate effectively with other team members about move-in activity and resident/family needs.

Complete Census Reports

Complete weekly and quarterly census reports, providing leadership with accurate and timely data on occupancy and sales activity.

Select Promotional Supplies

Select and order promotional supplies, staying within budget and ensuring that we have the necessary materials to promote our senior living community.

Schedule Presentations

Schedule presentations with prospective residents and families, ensuring that presentations are effective and accurate.

Support Assessment Process

Support our Director of Community Sales/Regional Care Coordinator or designee in the assessment process to determine eligibility for resident occupancy.

Requirements
  • Proven Sales Experience

Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding target.

Drive Sales Process

Proven ability to drive the sales process from inquiry to close.

Articulate Value Proposition

Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of Navion Senior Solutions offerings.

Competitive Positioning

Ability to position Navion Senior Solutions against competitors.

Team Player

Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment.

Excellent Communication Skills

Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
