Position: Regional Sales Executive

Foothills Brewing is seeking a passionate and results-driven Regional Sales Executive to enhance our esteemed team.

If you are enthusiastic about craft beer, fostering relationships, and elevating the Foothills brand presence, this role may be the perfect fit for you. This sales position will concentrate on expanding Foothills' reach in the Triangle area of North Carolina, extending southward to Fayetteville and eastward to Greenville, while managing distributor partnerships, engaging with retailers, and advocating for Foothills products in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of brand promotion, both internally and externally, with a commitment to achieving new distribution points, retail sales, and merchandising support.
  • Implement a proactive retail visitation strategy on existing, key, and prospective accounts, utilizing data from internal systems to pinpoint sales opportunities.
  • Ensure that wholesalers adhere to all sales initiatives and objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to meet annual market targets.
  • Monitor wholesaler pricing strategies and communicate any changes and opportunities.
  • Oversee wholesaler inventory levels, product age, and conduct regular warehouse assessments.
  • Utilize the Karma CRM system to manage daily tasks and maintain regular communication with distributor personnel and Foothills management.
  • Collaborate with on-premise and off-premise distributor representatives to engage in team selling regularly.
  • Organize and participate in events and sponsorships aligned with the company's objectives, including bartender training, tastings, beer dinners, and festivals.
  • Complete all required reports accurately and promptly.
  • Assist the Regional Manager in developing and executing the annual business plan with distributors.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the 3-tier distribution system and experience in retail sales and account management.
  • Must reside within the designated territory.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while meeting all expectations.
  • Strong creative thinking skills to develop and implement innovative strategies that enhance sales and market share.
  • Commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Experience with CRM and sales reporting applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Technical knowledge of the beer industry (styles, draught, on/off-premise) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's degree required; High School Diploma or equivalent acceptable.
