Position Overview

We are seeking a driven Commercial Insurance Sales Executive to enhance and support the operations of Wells Insurance. This role is pivotal in fostering relationships within the greater Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill region.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating the Commercial Insurance requirements of potential clients
  • Building and nurturing client accounts while promoting additional products and services
  • Collaborating with insurance carriers to secure competitive quotes for clients
  • Partnering with account managers and marketing teams to finalize proposals and identify suitable markets
  • Creating and presenting comprehensive insurance program proposals
  • Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
Qualifications:

To excel in the Commercial Insurance Sales Executive position, candidates should possess:

  • A valid North Carolina Property & Casualty insurance license
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Commercial Insurance sales
  • Knowledge of Risk Management, including MOD promulgations, loss analysis, and loss control assessments
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • The capability to work independently as well as collaboratively with teams, including account managers, carriers, and claims adjusters
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background checks
