Position Overview: The Regional Operations Leader is responsible for shaping the long-term market strategy by guiding and nurturing a team of store managers to achieve sales and profitability targets.
Reporting directly to a Regional Vice President, this role encompasses oversight of all sales and operational activities within the designated region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, articulate, and execute the market vision, including both short-term and long-term sales and operational strategies to enhance market share and elevate brand visibility.
- Regularly assess monthly performance metrics against established sales and operational objectives, making necessary adjustments to ensure targets are met.
- Stay informed about competitive landscape and provide recommendations regarding pricing, services, and product offerings to maintain Safelite's competitive edge.
- Manage the district's profit and loss, ensuring revenue targets are achieved by controlling expenses, maximizing profits, and minimizing losses; conduct monthly financial reviews with store managers for transparency.
- Foster a culture of engagement and motivation, understanding the dynamics of a primarily mobile workforce and creating an inspiring environment for all team members.
- Establish a positive and rewarding workplace that promotes employee retention and enhances customer satisfaction across all locations.
- Collaborate with national leadership to standardize best practices and facilitate change management initiatives in the field.
- Ensure that market leaders complete the annual Talent Review Process for their direct reports.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline is required.
- A minimum of 6 years of leadership experience in an operational and sales context; experience in the auto aftermarket is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of sales, marketing, and operational strategies.
- Ability to lead, coach, and drive results through indirect influence.
- Professional appearance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
