Insurance Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing initiatives tailored to clients and potential clients.
- Maintain and enhance client relationships, ensuring consistent profitability, satisfaction, and organic growth.
- Exhibit the technical expertise required to convey our solutions with clarity.
- Meet annual sales targets for new business within our designated market segment.
- Showcase proficiency in the discovery phase (sales due diligence) and present USI's unique value proposition, including customized solutions for each prospect.
- Collaborate with leadership to assemble the right team for impactful sales presentations, involving subject matter experts and account management personnel as needed.
- Identify and navigate sales challenges specific to each prospect.
- Engage in strategic thinking and innovation, informed by market knowledge, carrier relationships, and product offerings.
- Foster collaboration and pursue cross-selling opportunities with other USI divisions to strengthen client relationships.
- Represent USI positively at various professional gatherings, including meetings, seminars, trade shows, and networking events.
- Work with sales leadership and senior account teams to ensure client retention.
- Partner with account management teams and utilize local, regional, and national resources to optimize outcomes.
- Communicate client goals effectively to account management teams.
- Adhere to and execute USI policies diligently.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in insurance brokerage, carrier operations, or related business-to-business sales, with a proven track record of financial success.
- Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance principles.
- Personable and highly driven to achieve personal success.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Recognized presence within the HR and benefits sector.
- Outstanding organizational and follow-up capabilities.
- A consultative, positive, and resourceful approach to engaging with prospects, clients, and colleagues.
- Excellent listening skills with a strong customer-centric focus.
- Goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to engage with senior management and project a professional executive presence.
- A college degree and current insurance licensing are preferred.
