Position Overview

The Regional Sales Manager role is essential for our operations in the Raleigh, NC area. This position is pivotal in establishing and nurturing robust customer relationships across the designated region. The Regional Sales Manager will operate under the guidance of the Sales Operations leadership team to fulfill the responsibilities outlined below.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate business relationships with targeted referral sources, including healthcare professionals such as Endocrinologists and Family Practitioners, ensuring a seamless referral process for our Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) solutions.
  • Analyze and profile targets based on a strategic territory plan, understanding the needs and priorities of the organizations and stakeholders involved.
  • Manage a designated sales territory with the objective of maximizing revenue.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the unique needs of diabetes patients and how our CGM and diabetic pump solutions can enhance their care.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to address specific educational, technical, clinical, and reimbursement needs of patients.
  • Implement a strategic account plan that outlines goals, objectives, and tactics to increase referrals and ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with other manufacturers and patient-related organizations to achieve business objectives.
  • Employ company programs and territory management tools to optimize time management and return on investment.
  • Adhere to budget constraints while managing expenses within the designated territory.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient engagement protocols.
  • Adapt swiftly to changes in processes and improvements.
  • Demonstrate reliability and engagement, providing constructive feedback to enhance processes and policies.
  • Participate in all required departmental, team, and company meetings.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in outside sales within the medical field is preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals and objectives.
  • Basic proficiency in mathematics and business calculations.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and data entry; ability to learn new software.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges may vary based on location. The general hiring range for this position is $54,500 - $66,560 annually, plus commissions. Actual compensation will depend on education, experience, and relevant skills.
