Executive Vice President of Sales Strategy

An outstanding candidate will embody a results-oriented and proactive approach, prioritizing teamwork and understanding as a servant-leader. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving excellence in execution and establishing the foundation for enterprise account growth through both existing clients and new business opportunities.

Reporting directly to the AVP of Enterprise Sales, this Vice President will be responsible for building, overseeing, and expanding a team of exceptional Strategic Account Directors.

The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated history of recruiting, managing, and developing a high-achieving team focused on securing enterprise accounts across various sectors and regions. Your responsibilities will include close collaboration with the Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving key objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically select, onboard, and cultivate Strategic Account Directors while continuously motivating, promoting, and managing the team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to sustainably increase new sales within existing Enterprise accounts and expand our presence with new clients.
  • Empower the team to proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and nurture the sales pipeline.
  • Facilitate internal collaboration across functions to enhance customer satisfaction within Enterprise accounts.
  • Conduct strategic analysis of industry trends and performance metrics to enhance execution and accelerate outcomes.
  • Drive superior sales performance by utilizing the Pendo Value Framework.
  • Accurately develop and monitor Enterprise sales forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in building and managing a high-performing Strategic SaaS sales team.
  • 7+ years of experience in selling enterprise technology within a rapidly growing environment.
  • Experience in establishing Strategic businesses from the ground up is essential.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong proficiency in value-based sales methodologies and a high capability to collaborate in a decentralized setting.
  • Ability to adapt and lead effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience implementing MEDDICC & Force management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in MEDDICC & Force Management.
