The Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Operational Coordinator to join our team. As an integral part of our medical procedures, this individual will play a vital role in coordinating the activities, documentation, and transfer of information related to scheduling and preparing patients for in-office appointments, surgical procedures, and related testing.

This key position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure seamless coordination between departments, clinics, and external resources. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with two years of prior medical office experience, preferably with direct clinical patient contact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating patient schedules and appointment preparations
  • Liaising between departments, clinics, and external resources
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
