Medical Coordinator Specialist

Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks a skilled Medical Coordinator Specialist to coordinate the activities related to scheduling and preparing patients for in-office appointments, surgical procedures, and/or related testing.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of medical terminology, advanced computer skills, and Microsoft Office products. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to interact with diverse patient populations.
This role requires coordination with relevant offices, departments, external resources, and individuals to arrange preparation arrangements that meet all requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate office schedules and establish patient needs
- Liaise between relevant offices, departments, and external resources
- Arrange preparation arrangements for in-office appointments, surgical procedures, and/or related testing
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a medical office setting, preferably with direct clinical patient contact
- Associates Degree in a related field
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of CPT/ICD9/ICD 10 Coding
We offer a competitive salary range of $18.35 - $27.23 per hour, commensurate with experience.
