The estimated annual salary for this position is $62,480-$93,460, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, competitive differentials are offered for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Unit Secretary to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating clerical duties related to patient care and unit operations. Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with various customer groups, including patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cover the coordination of clerical duties, such as data entry, reporting, and record-keeping
  • Ensure seamless communication between departments and teams
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both manual and electronic
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
  • Develop strong working relationships with colleagues and supervisors

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in hospital/medical office administration
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with diverse individuals and levels of employees/providers
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology preferred
