Job Specifics:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active RN License in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification for healthcare providers.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • New RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within five years of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of clinical RN experience specifically with Central Lines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regular need to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs, as well as operate medical equipment.
  • Frequent communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members, requiring clear verbal interaction and auditory comprehension, especially in emergencies.
  • Manual dexterity is essential for operating delicate medical equipment and for frequent computer use.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as retrieve and carry various supplies and equipment.
  • Must be able to assist with patient transportation and navigate busy environments.
  • May require standing for extended periods.
