Department: Central Line Dressing Change Team at Primary Children's Hospital

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active RN License in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification for healthcare providers.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within five years of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years of clinical RN experience with Central Lines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Continuous need to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs.
  • Frequent communication with patients and care providers, requiring effective verbal skills.
  • Manual dexterity to operate delicate equipment and frequent computer use.
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment of varying weights.
  • Expected to assist with patient transport and navigate busy environments.
  • May need to maintain a stationary position for extended periods.
