Compensation:

$15 - $18 per hour based on experience.

Benefits: New hires receive two weeks of paid vacation and one week of sick leave. Additional benefits may be negotiated after one year of service, including health insurance and a performance-based bonus structure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee office communications and administrative duties such as responding to phone inquiries, liaising with opposing counsel, taking dictation, and managing email correspondence.
  • Organize meetings and appointments for the team, including depositions, and arrange travel logistics.
  • Conduct legal research as necessary, with guidance from attorneys and paralegals.
  • Ensure accurate client billing through daily time tracking in collaboration with the accounting team.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to maintain efficient office operations.
  • Handle phone and email inquiries professionally, ensuring messages are directed to the appropriate personnel.
  • Engage with clients by welcoming them to appointments, ensuring their comfort, and providing requested refreshments.
  • Assist in the completion of client documentation.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines.
  • Support attorneys and paralegals in the preparation of various legal documents.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and office correspondence.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • An Associate's degree or some college experience is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Familiarity with proper phone etiquette is necessary.
