Equipment Project Coordinator

SUMMARY
Responsible for managing all stages of equipment projects from initiation to completion, ensuring effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead teams to accomplish defined objectives within specified timelines and resource constraints.
• Oversee the administration, execution, and comprehensive management of equipment projects.
• Ensure accountability for project scope, timelines, and financial resources.

Essential Functions:
• Develop and assess project plans, set schedules, and implement strategies to meet system goals for intricate equipment applications.
• Engage with clients and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, and field support personnel.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Prepare and assess equipment submissions.
• Negotiate and secure external purchases.
• Ensure compliance with internal equipment ordering protocols.
• Process equipment orders and issue purchase orders for vendor supplies.
• Align estimated shipping dates with contractor project timelines.
• Create and maintain project schedules, including task generation, estimates, dependencies, and milestones.
• Manage the preparation of material and vendor orders, track material receipts, and authorize payments.
• Coordinate with contractors and owners to discuss project scope, budgets, performance, and project closure.
• Monitor and manage project expenditures to remain within budget.
• Maintain accuracy in forecasting total project costs upon completion.
• Ensure timely project completion while upholding customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related HVAC Technology Degree is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and adaptable to various manufacturer programs.
• Experience in HVAC/R and/or project management is advantageous.
• Knowledge of sales processes is preferred.
