CRM Residential, a leading property management company, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our Community Manager and assist with various tasks related to property management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Community Manager, including handling office tasks, responding to inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with resident selection and orientation, ensuring compliance with HUD Manual and Community Realty Management Occupancy Manual.
  • Maintain and organize resident files, ensuring timely processing of applications and certifications.
  • Assist with leasing of vacant apartments, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of paperwork.
  • Ensure all certifications and recertifications are conducted in accordance with HUD Manual.
  • Maintain the waiting list, ensuring timely processing of applications and adherence to HUD protocol.
  • Process work orders and prepare reports for the maintenance department.
  • Assist with required paperwork for new move-ins, move-outs, recertifications, and other HUD required documents.
  • Collect rent and other payments, preparing for deposit and ensuring timely processing.
  • Prepare computer reports periodically required by CRM Residential and file accordingly.
  • Assist residents with local social services and other related agencies.
  • Assist the Community Manager in court proceedings when required.
  • Contribute to resident satisfaction and achievement of property goals.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Section 8 or HUD experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with diverse individuals and make them feel comfortable quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
