Position Overview:
ABL is on the lookout for a meticulous and organized Administrative Assistant to support our Capital Markets and Collateral Department. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient transaction processes related to capital markets and bank financing, while adhering to internal compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Collateral Documentation: Systematically organize, maintain, and update collateral documentation, ensuring precision and adherence to regulatory standards. Assist in the creation and dissemination of collateral-related documents, such as loan agreements, pledges, and security instruments.
- Support for Capital Markets Activities: Provide administrative assistance for capital markets operations, including the preparation of loan trade files and the resolution of trailing document requirements.
- Creation of Assignments and Allonges: Generate and process assignments and allonges for collateral and capital market transactions, ensuring all documents are executed correctly and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Research on Trailing Loan Documents: Investigate and obtain trailing loan documents necessary for compliance and collateral management, addressing any issues related to missing or incomplete documentation.
- Resolution of Conditions: Aid in resolving conditions and discrepancies associated with collateral and capital markets transactions, collaborating with internal teams and external parties to ensure timely and accurate issue resolution.
- Data Entry and Record Maintenance: Accurately enter collateral and capital markets data into the company's database or management systems in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A background in an administrative role is essential, with experience in a financial institution, lending environment, or capital markets being highly advantageous.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with financial databases or management systems.
- Time Management: Capability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic work environment.
