Quality Assurance Specialist I

As a Quality Assurance Engineer I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of laboratory operations. This position is integral to supporting quality assurance initiatives within a high-stakes environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, you will:
- Provide quality assurance and control engineering services to support laboratory activities.
- Conduct audits, assessments, and surveillances as part of the Quality Assurance Program.
- Identify deficiencies through inspections and investigations, and assist in developing corrective action plans.
- Develop and revise quality plans, procedures, and audit checklists.
- Ensure compliance with Documented Safety Analysis (DSA) and Technical Safety Requirements (TSR).
- Lead system audits and collaborate with senior engineers on quality assurance matters.
- Document evaluations, testing, and corrective actions, maintaining a continuous awareness of quality issues.
- Compile training materials and conduct sessions on quality assurance practices.
- Specialize in areas such as design, incoming materials, process control, or software quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related field with 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: Strong communication skills, ability to interact effectively with peers and management, and certification as a QA Engineer or Level II Inspector.
