Position Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer I, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our laboratory operations. This position is integral to supporting the quality assurance initiatives within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive audits and assessments of the Quality Assurance Program to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Perform inspections and investigations to identify and rectify deficiencies in processes and products.
  • Develop and update quality plans, procedures, and audit checklists to align with industry best practices.
  • Assist team members in understanding and implementing quality-related requirements.
  • Utilize advanced Quality Engineering theories and methods to maintain and enhance quality assurance policies.
  • Review and approve safety basis documents, demonstrating a solid understanding of Documented Safety Analysis (DSA) and Technical Safety Requirements (TSR).
  • Lead system-wide audits as directed, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Document evaluations, testing results, and corrective actions taken to address quality issues.
  • Compile training materials and facilitate training sessions focused on quality assurance practices.
  • Perform quality assurance inspections and provide technical guidance to junior staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with strong communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly to peers and management will be favored. Certification as a Qualified QA Engineer and Level II Inspector is preferred. Due to the nature of the role, US citizenship is required.
