Position Overview
Quality Assurance Registered Nurse - Quality Care Management
Under the guidance of the Director of Quality and Risk, along with the Manager of Clinical Data Analytics, the Quality Assurance RN is responsible for the abstraction, analysis, compilation, reporting, and presentation of data related to patient outcomes for specific populations. This role supports initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical performance and quality of care.
The incumbent will collaborate with various teams, including Medical, Nursing, and Ancillary staff, to foster improvements in patient care and actively participate in relevant outcome committees.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time role, requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during day shifts. Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift between 6 AM and 6 PM is essential.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited institution.
- Active Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- A minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in an acute care nursing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data abstraction.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records.
- Proficiency in software applications, including Word Processing and Excel.
- Background in research and statistics.
