Quality Assurance Specialist I

As a Quality Assurance Engineer I, you will play a crucial role in supporting the quality assurance initiatives within a dynamic laboratory environment. This position involves working closely with various teams to ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audits and assessments to uphold quality assurance programs.
- Perform inspections and investigations to identify and rectify deficiencies.
- Develop and update quality plans, procedures, and audit checklists.
- Assist staff in understanding and implementing quality-related requirements.
- Utilize advanced quality engineering principles to maintain and enhance quality assurance policies.
- Review and approve safety documentation in accordance with established safety analysis and requirements.
- Lead system-wide audits and collaborate with senior engineers on quality assurance matters.
- Ensure products meet customer and company quality standards through rigorous testing and evaluation.
- Document quality evaluations and provide recommendations for addressing defective materials.
- Compile training materials and facilitate training sessions on quality assurance practices.
- Specialize in specific areas of quality engineering, such as design, process control, or software quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related discipline, coupled with 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The ideal candidate will possess certification as a QA Engineer and hold a Level II Inspector certification. Due to contract requirements, US citizenship is mandatory.
