Overview:

This role acts as a key communication link between the Manager, team members, and patients. The individual will oversee the allocation of tasks and the scheduling of the team. Responsibilities include training and onboarding new staff in line with established protocols. The position also involves assisting in the assessment of team performance and participating in coaching activities. The Lead Patient Services Coordinator will notify the manager regarding any performance-related concerns or operational challenges. Additionally, this role may include managing inventory and ordering necessary office and medical supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates communication between the Manager, team members, and patients
  • Oversees task assignments and staff scheduling
  • Conducts training and orientation for new staff according to established guidelines
  • Assists in evaluating team performance and engages in coaching sessions
  • Reports performance-related issues to the manager
  • Communicates patient and operational concerns to the manager
  • May handle inventory management and ordering of office and medical supplies
  • Processes and inputs charge data into the system
  • Completes billing procedures and disseminates billing information
  • Verifies insurance coverage and assists with referral processes
  • May prepare checks for deposit purposes

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
