Overview:

The Lead Patient Services Coordinator acts as a vital link between the management team, staff members, and patients. This role encompasses the organization of work assignments and the scheduling of team members. The Lead Coordinator is responsible for training and onboarding new staff in alignment with established protocols. Additionally, this position plays a key role in assessing the performance of team members and engaging in coaching sessions. The Lead Coordinator will also communicate any performance-related concerns to management, as well as report on patient and operational matters. Responsibilities may include managing inventory and ordering necessary office and medical supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a liaison between management, staff, and patients
  • Oversees work assignments and schedules for team members
  • Facilitates training and orientation for new staff in accordance with established guidelines
  • Assists in evaluating team performance and participates in coaching activities
  • Communicates performance issues regarding staff to management
  • Reports on patient and operational concerns to management
  • May oversee inventory management and ordering of office and medical supplies
  • Processes and inputs charge information into the database
  • Completes billing procedures and disseminates billing information
  • Verifies insurance benefits and aids in referral processes
  • May prepare checks for deposit

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
