About Synergy Companies:

We are a leading provider of no-cost energy-saving programs to residents in Southern California, partnering with local natural gas, electric, and water utility companies.

Job Overview:

We seek a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team in the Inland Empire region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for educating customers about available programs and presenting a friendly face to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Effectively convey products and services to customers in person, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Distribute program literature and schedule at least 5 appointments daily with assigned technicians.
  • Attend bi-weekly training sessions to stay updated on company programs and best practices.
  • Become certified and badged for Energy Savings Assistance Programs.
  • Maintain regular communication with the office, assigned technician, and manager, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Possess a friendly and outgoing attitude, providing excellent customer service.
  • Remain knowledgeable about ongoing company programs, staying up-to-date on new initiatives.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, representing Synergy Companies positively.
  • Drive to different areas within the Inland Empire to offer no-cost programs, requiring reliable transportation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and program presentation.
  • Meet or exceed daily appointment targets, ensuring timely completion of scheduled tasks.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, promoting loyalty and retention.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus, enhancing customer engagement.
  • Client management experience recommended, but not required.
  • Basic computer and iPad skills, familiarity with industry software a bonus.
  • Pass Drug and background screening, ensuring a safe working environment.

Estimated Annual Salary: $55,000 - $70,000
