We are seeking an exceptional Sales and Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth strategy in the Greater Los Angeles Market. As a seasoned sales professional with 5-7 years of B2B product sales experience and 2+ years of sales management/ leadership experience, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and profitability.

R.S. Hughes Company, Inc. is a dynamic distributor of industrial supplies with over 50 warehouse sites in the United States and Mexico. We represent products from leading manufacturing companies and specialize in sales and service solutions to manufacturing companies in OEM and MRO applications.

Job Description

  • As a Sales and Business Development Manager, you will lead our Sales Team and help drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • You will provide complete and appropriate solutions to boost revenue growth and profitability.
  • You will design and implement strategic business plans.
  • You will establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • You will own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 5-7 years of B2B product sales experience with 2+ years of sales management/ leadership experience required.
  • Familiarity with CRM practices, along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships.
  • Goal-oriented, driven, and experienced in networking with and influencing decision-makers.
  • Excellent selling, interpersonal communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in opening doors to new opportunities.
Compensation and Benefits

The target first-year compensation (base + incentive) for this Exempt role is approximately $130,000 DOE. This includes a merit-based salary/bonus program, paid time off, major medical, dental, vision, company-paid short-term and long-term disability, paid parental leave, various supplemental benefit plans, and an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).
