Overview
The Rates & Credit application support team provides assistance to front office personnel on the Rates & Credit trading floors regarding their trading and risk management applications. You will be responsible for supporting traders by offering application expertise and troubleshooting technical issues, while also collaborating with application development teams to gain insights into the applications, planned releases, and to obtain their support during incidents. Your role will involve proactive monitoring of applications and maintaining monitoring tools, with opportunities to contribute to the automation of support tasks through scripting and proprietary tools. You will communicate incidents to the trading desk, ensure proper ticketing of failures, and follow up post-incident to prevent recurrence. You will also ensure that changes to the production environment adhere to the required standards.

- Knowledge of fixed income products (bonds, swaps) and related market events
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of Linux and Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Technically adept with the ability to troubleshoot issues using a combination of in-house and standard tools
- Self-starter and self-motivated
