Veterinary Clinical Lead, Surgery

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Clinical Lead to oversee our Surgery department at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of veterinary technicians and assistants, providing clinical leadership, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of veterinary technicians and assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and other department staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry.
- CA RVT license preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices, and estimates.
- Ability to maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP).
- Competitive hourly wage range of $30-$48.
- Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified new full-time licensed team members.
