Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Marketing: Manage the sales process for incoming inquiries and proactive outreach. Execute the marketing strategy for the business unit while maintaining accurate records in the marketing database. Generate leads for rentals, leases, and used vehicle sales, and enhance relationships with existing clients.
  • Operations & Asset Management: Oversee the profitability and operations of the rental location. Collaborate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with regulations.
  • Customer Relations: Foster and grow customer relationships to drive revenue growth. Address and resolve customer concerns to maintain strong ongoing relationships.
  • Communication: Build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Maintain professionalism in stressful situations and clearly convey Ryder's offerings.

Additional Duties

  • May perform the role of On-Call Representative based on scheduling needs.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong drive for results.
  • High initiative and self-motivation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Proficient in building professional relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year of sales experience preferred.
