Job Overview

The Store Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the overall performance of the store, focusing on both financial and operational aspects. This position involves establishing superior guest services, managing daily operations, and ensuring optimal sales and profitability through effective expense management, human resource oversight, and control of operating costs and shrinkage.

Compensation: $70,000 to $100,000 annually.

Guest Service Responsibilities:

  • Ensures outstanding customer service by maintaining store standards, ensuring product knowledge among the management team, conducting follow-ups, and meeting time commitments. Addresses escalated customer concerns effectively.

Team Management:

  • Communicates expectations clearly with employees regarding job roles, objectives, training, and customer service excellence. Holds the management team accountable for their responsibilities and fosters a culture of coaching and development.
  • Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures through regular employee meetings and store audits.
  • Conducts periodic performance evaluations for all staff members.

Financial Management:

  • Analyzes business trends and develops strategies to maximize sales while meeting or exceeding sales and profit targets as outlined in the Store Margin Statement.
  • Handles customer transactions in the POS system.
  • Manages incoming phone inquiries.
  • Oversees inventory control processes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in sales management within an automotive repair setting or equivalent experience in the automotive sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring team members through effective communication and strategic business development.
  • Proven ability to create and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual performance goals.
  • History of consistently meeting and surpassing sales and profit objectives.
  • Prior experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
  • Availability to work a minimum of five days per week, Monday through Friday.
